Clara Porset

The Cuban-born furniture and interior designer Clara Porset is best known for modern designs inspired by the local traditions of Mexico, her adopted homeland. Porset’s CP3 Coffee Table is a perfect example of her fascination with Mexico’s craft heritage and desire to bring traditional forms into a contemporary context. Crafted from solid wood and topped with glass, the table is one of many designs that Porset developed in the mid-century, working alongside UNAM (the National Autonomous University of Mexico), where she taught.
